Apple CarPlay Not Working in iOS 18.0

I turned my wifi and bluetooth off and it finally worked

I had the same issue - couldn’t connect via cable on IOS 18. It worked when I turned VPN off.

Yup. 2018 s5 audi not working at all after upgrade.

I have checked on my settings on car play and voice control was already off. Toyota Corolla

I turned "Vocal Shortcuts" Off , and everything works fine now. Apple needs to fix this.

Turn off the vocal shortcuts and it will fix your issue.

Same car same phone same problem. Totally agree I'm so frustrated.

I saw a video on YouTube telling me to turn off voice command in accessibility and it’s been working fine ever since. So far so good

Yeah... tried EVERYTHING I have seen here... YouTube etc, nothing works WTF?

I have tried every possible solution yet it didn’t work .. somehow the GPS can’t locate my location.. maybe iOS 18 needs an update..

Check out “Vocal shortcuts” under accessibility and turn it off, it solved my issue

Carplay now working with IOS 18. I posted a few days ago about my phone not working with CarPlay. I forgot all phones in my car’s system. Forgot connection in my phone and restarted my phone. I no nothing about car computers but I felt like the computer needed to “restart” the way I did my phone. I did not try connecting my phone to CarPlay again for two days. I was still connecting via Bluetooth to the car’s software so that I could listen to music . Decided to try CarPlay again on day 3. CarPlay disclaimer came up to accept terms and conditions. Has connected with no issues last two days. If you try it and it works, please let me know so I know It’s not a fluke.
