Installed and runs perfectly. But when I try to play a song it says I must connect to Apple to Play Apple Music. I am logged in, tried logging out and back in, tried uninstalling I Tunes and reinstalling still having same issue. Even unchecked Icloud Music, music disappeared, re-checked box and it shows up. Just won't play. Any suggestions? Thanks Nick

Ah, getting closer.

I got that version to install. Unfortunately the app won't launch. Just seems like nothing happens when I click it, only a half second spinning wheel. Tried compatibility mode too. I do have QuickTime and iCloud working now though now, and the computer recognizes my iPhone, but still useless without iTunes. So close I can taste it.

I ran into the same issue, not only with iTunes but an Adobe product as well, but I found the easy solution. Because of the way Windows 10 and installations work, even if you are an administrator on your system stuff will not install properly. The way I got the iTunes 12 to install was to right-click on the installer file and select "Run as administrator". No problems with the iTunes install or the Adobe product after doing that. My guess is, it is just another "Undocumented Feature".
