Since a couple of weeks, my iTunes in my iMac freezes when I click on Recently Added. Everything else works fine, but I can't seem to acces that view anymore.

Did exactly the same as you. New iTunes didn't fix the issue, I signed out and back in.
iCloud Music Library automatically started updating for about a minute, and now clicking Recently Added works without freezing!

Updated, restarted and also tried out signing out and back in after another restart. Still facing the issue.
