Bluetooth Voice Becomes REALLY Slow

Thanks--there seems to be a theme of iPhone 6 and 7; only one report in this thread of someone with an X, and no 8's.

Same thing. This is insane that Apple won’t acknowledge the issues.

This used to happen once in a blue moon, now it happens several times per day, it’s so annoying!!

I am on my iphone 7 all day, this has been going on for nearly a year. No fix, have swapped phones, this is ridiculous.

When can we expect this to be fixed?

iOS 12 is coming soon... I really hope this will be fixed then.

I have the same issue. It sounds like the only fix is to go with another brand.

I’ve got the issue with my 6S. Plantronics Voyager Legend headset. One item I haven’t seen mentioned in this thread—it happens when I’m listening to Amazon Music as well. Music slows to a crawl; noticeably catches up, pauses for about 2 seconds, and resumes normally.

I’m giving serious thought to trying the v12 Beta to see if it helps. It’s super annoying with music, but is making calls very unprofessional.

I had the same issue with my iPhone 7s when connected to Bluetooth in my 2013 Silverado. Drove me and people on the other end crazy. Super slow speech on my end, fast speech on there end. It would happen almost every time I was on Bluetooth. I finally went to AT&T and had my SIM card replaced and this resolved my issue 100%.
