IOS 11.4.1 Terrible battery drain

Just for test purposes I have Erased all Settings and Content. And I have still the same issue - battery is draining like 1 minute = 1%.... @Apple, come on!!! Stop this madness!

Everything was perfectly ok with 11.4 now the phone seems to drain a lot of battery doing nothing.

Same here. The company apple has gone from world class to complete f* up. They care more about getting it out than getting it right.

I can’t even access the battery option. Constantly resets itself. What a health and safety issue.

Really considering switching to another brand. Fed up

Just a terrible update. My phone restarted 3 times today. Battery life was bad to begin with, even with a brand new battery installed, and now it's just ridiculous. As an example, at over 30% left I was simply doing a search for a particular email. After a few minutes there first was an error, and then the phone just shut down. iPhone 6.

I say we boycott all apple products until they put their customers first and fix the problems before releasing an update and not fixing the problem, making the problem worse and/or causing new problems.

Enough is enough!!

This update is terrible on its own. My phone keep restarting ever since I upgraded it to 11.4.1 or so. How can I be able to solve this problem. I can not remove my phone from power supple to operating else it will off and keep restarting. I need urgent help

Last night updated software to 11.4.1. After update battery was 100% when I went to sleep. No alarm when I woke up this morning - checked my phone and battery was completely dead. First time this has happened to me. Something definitely wrong with this update!! Please fix!!

The same reason why I want to downgrade mine to 11.4 at at least I wasn’t experiencing this kind of a constant rebooting when I was using it without upgrade.

HOW CAN I BE ABLE TO DOWNGRADE THE IOS TO 11.4.

And the rate at which my battery drain is just alarming.

The data is being consumed too fast. I used a data of 2gb to upgrade an iOS of approximately 300mb. That is really not cool.

SAME HERE. My iPhone 7 was fine before i updated it. But now, this battery drain is so terrible that i can't even use my phone for 2 hours or more. I don't have any auto-sync like bluetooth, airdrop, push mail or any apps that uses auto-sync or auto-fetch. Not even using location, except for Find iPhone in system use. This is so terrible. I'm worrying about the battery's life. I'm worried that this is one of apple's INTENTIONAL WAY of damaging our phones, i just hope not. I HOPE THAT THEY IMMEDIATELY FIX THIS ISSUE.

Took your suggestion- did a full reset. No effect on my newly increased battery drain issues since 11.4.1 (iphone7). Plus, it changed all of my privacy settings, location services, deleted all of my wifi passcodes, even background images. If this worked it would have been worth it, but now it's just 2 hours of annoyance trying to get everything back to the way it was. grrrr. thanks for the suggestion but this wasn't worth it for me.

Same thing is happening to my iPhone 6, I left it in my room to do some chores and bathe, after about 2 hours the battery drained from 98-70% though no one was using it. Please fix this ASAP. Never had this problem before.

While a suggestion for previous iOS upgrade and battery issue was to consider

the battery was weak before latest upgrade, I'm not necessarily a follower now.

My iPhone SE 64 (with mophie battery case) seems OK, while still on iOS 11.2.6.

Upgrade prompts haven't been heeded. Will the world as iPhone knows it, end?

Iphone 6s, no battery problems until IOS upgrade. Now if I use my phone, battery drains. Need to recharge 3-4 times a day. This is my 3rd iPhone, never had this kind of issue, my mom still uses my old iPhone 4. Not willing to spend X amount of money on new battery or phone because of a faulty software. If I need to buy a new phone just because of this.. definitely wont be Apple.

I mentioned in my earlier post about battery drain and that people could barely hear me when talking on the phone. I didn’t mention my reception which used to be good in my location has gone down from 5 bars to 2 and it now bounces around a bit which probably explains the mic problem

fraggin ipad, it lasted 3 hour of constant PUBG the day before update. And after update i lost 30% after a 45min drama episode -.-
