Since updating to 11.4.1 my wifi doesn't seem to be working correctly.
I am connected to the wifi but apps like youtube, facebook and whatsapp struggle to connect to the internet but eventually connect after a minute or two.
My old ipad mini first gen is running ios 9 and is working perfectly on the same wifi, so this is clearly an issue with the new ios.
Do you also have this problem?
I put this down to poor quality control, again.
iPhone 6, iOS 11.4.1, 64gb
I would try to reset your network settings (this procedure resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before, but nothing else).
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
When done, restart your iP6 and test it.

You stated wifi was fine after a restore.
Okay, nevermind. It barely held for more than 5 mins. Back to the drawing board.😟
Thx for the response and, of course, your prob is different. I’m noticing several work around for Wifi problems on latest OS version which came with my new iPad. Could it be a coincidence?
Since the update I’ve tried all the suggestions but they all fail. The bug on the WiFi needs to be fixed by Apple....another update!!!
At this rate all my memory will be used for the updates...

I am also having the exact same problem with my iPhone SE after upgrading to iOS 11.4.1. I updated my iPad to 11.4.1 as well and its working fine.
I have same problem.
Resetting router changes nothing.
iPad access is so sloooowww.Think Apple best issue a fix.
