recover/open domain site file

until the other day, I normally used iWeb even if it's not longer supported, then, I decided to wipe my Mac.

now I have recovered iWeb app via Time Machine with its domain file (my web site), so I can open the app but the website is gone, it has several Mb of weight so something is in there but when i click on it, in iWeb I have the select layout page.

my question, is there a way to continue to open my website with iWeb (and how to do it) or is there a program that can open this file so I don't have to start from zero...it would be a disaster..and impossible!!

thanks

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Put the domain file in your User/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.

Then launch iWeb and see if it can find and open your websites.

If that fails download and run iWeb Switch Domain from Old Toads Cellar. This will help link iWeb to the domain file. To open the app the first time Control (right) - click on it and select Open from the contextual menu.
