spreediscount
is this a virus - how can I stop these amazing amazon discount offers from spreediscount.com? It looks like a phishing pop up to me and it pops up and removes my history so I can’t back out of it.

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.
Try double clicking the Home button and swipe Safari upwards. Go to Settings/Safari and clear History and Website Data. Open Safari and test.

Resetting Network Settings, as another user reported here was Apple Support’s suggestion, did not help for me.
Either of these two solutions are working for me:

I looked over my notes and see I forget to include to enable JavaScrip. I will repost the steps with correction. I have been Spee free for five days LOL. Also it’s important to copy and past when adding link to block list.

I am having the problem on my iPhone so I can’t do the recommended steps. What is the recommendation for iPhones with the issue. Yahoo just recommends ad blockers and malware detectors which do nothing for this issue.
I downloaded the Site Blocker app which blocks it at times (for a day or so) but then seems to be able to circumvent the block again.
A VPN and pop up blockers don’t work. In fact my VPN (Phone Guardian) prevented all access to the internet - both 4G and Wi-Fi, even trusted wi-fi - after spree discount was really bad. I had to install the VPN to get it to work. Browsing private doesn’t help.
It happens on both Chrome and Safari browsers.
I have been seeing this also in the last day or so, but only on iPad Safari. Same for you or are you seeing that on other platform(s)?
Are you getting these pop-ups when visiting any specific website(s)?
Same here, only eBay and only on iPad. Doesn't seem to happen when browsing ebay NOT logged in, but that's not a solution. I've had success avoiding it by first going to eBay home page, request desktop site (via the share button), and then visiting various item pages. (As far as listing items for sale, the eBay app appears unaffected, so you might try that, even though it's not a solution either.)
Thank you for the tips. I'll try them. I switched to my desktop to finish the listings. Hopefully, eBay will be able to block it on their website and/or Apple will issues a fix for it. Very irritating!
First time on these forums, so I apologize if this is not the right place or possible solution for your problems, but it has temporarily fixed mine. I have not used my yahoo fantasy football for a while, and suddenly when I tried to log on and adjust my team I was redirected to a pop up for amazon amazing something and the web address showed spreediscount. I went crazy trying to remove it. Deleted browser history, but that only worked for a day or two. Then I realized I had just conducted a speed test and had downloaded speedtest app. I removed that app, and since have not had any problems. I will update if that changes.
