Bluetooth doesn't work in Windows 10 Bootcamp without SMC Reset

Is there anything that can be done for a more permanent solution than resetting the SMC before booting into windows 10?

This appears to be the same problem described here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8553867

I didn't have this trouble with Bootcamp under High Sierra, but this is not a big enough problem to warrant rolling back to HS. Is there a way for me to download an older version of the BT driver?

MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar (2018 or later)

Can you pair the MM/MT on the macOS side and verify that they work properly? Once you have verified, switch to Windows and test.

Also, the MM I'm using is one of the older ones that uses AA batteries.

If you do not have BT/WiFi collaboration, you are using a WHQL driver, not the BC driver.

Use Bootcamp Assistant -> Action -> Download to get the appropriate drivers and then try to install the Network and BT drivers.

In macos? Those are the drivers I'm attempting to use. Or is there an option to do that in BCA in windows?

This is in macOS under BCA. There is no option in Windows, but Apple Software Update is the closest to BCA.
