Photos in iMessage disappeared after ios13 update
After updating to iOS 13, all photos previously sent and received through iMessage are gone. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?

Just a suggestion which you may have already tried, but on my phone if I click on the info icon at the top and scroll to the bottom it says x number of images in iCloud and there is an option to download them. Hope this helps

Yes!! I don’t save all my pictures that were sent to me. So i lost pictures of my kids!! I hope there is a fix soon.
That’s unfortunate but I know the feeling. Didn’t expect to lose data/pics in my iMessages especially those that were saved to the cloud. Hope you get yours back as well.
Same problem. They are taking up my phones storage but entire conversations are gone. Some of which had over 2,000 medias. I know they are there because I can see it in my storage settings
This contact has sent me numerous photos but nothing there. Only affecting some contacts. Not all
How do you re-download the messages?
It won’t back up to the computer either

I have no message attachments or photo attachments or links since January 29 - same thing - update did nothing
Agreed... I don’t have time to scroll back 1 year to reference a photo or other media!! 😡 who is running these updates? They are doing a terrible job!!!
