Hi I have a new iPhone 11, and I notice my iPhone over the last 2 nights goes to 100 percent in the middle of the night. So I presume it’s not work despite settings?

Optimized charging is designed to engage only in locations where you spend the most time, such as your home and place of work. The feature doesn't engage when your usage habits are more variable, such as when you travel. Because of this, some location settings must be enabled for Optimized Battery Charging to activate. None of the location information used for this feature is sent to Apple.

The background app refresh is off. It was never on
It's actually on by default when you set up the phone, so if you didn't turn it off it is still on.
I have a XR and even though I’ve turn off automatic backup and background refresh - when I plug the phone to the charger every night at approx 10 PM, it charges right up to 100% same as always!!
No, is not working after the update. They don’t know how to fix the problem !
I updated yesterday and it still doesn’t work for me, however, I think it’s too soon to judge. Let’s give it a couple of nights.
iOS 13.2 has not yet fixed Issue. Has anyone restored iPhone 11 Pro to see if it fixes it?
Ok the problem stills it worked for one night and it’s again the same it just charging till 100%. Really i give up will never get fixed no matter how many updates they will release!
No, location services shouldn’t have any effect on battery optimisation.
I reported a few days ago that it started working one day after updating to iOS 13.2... Well, a few days ago it stopped working again.
Never worked for me with the wired charger.
I have same issue. Finally kicked in with 13.2.1. Now with 13.2.2 it’s not working again. Have all the battery screenshots to show it.

Iphone 11 pro here. Has never worked me since i got the phone on release day.
Smart idea! It’s a glitchy feature. Mine had finally started working & now it stopped working. And I’m pretty routine with my bedtime & wake time.
