Iphone 11 Pro & Carplay

I just upgraded from an Iphone X to Iphone 11 Pro. IOS 13.0 and now my Carplay sounds like an old Vinyl record with a scratch. playing music from the Phone skips randomly 5-15 seconds then skips again. I've reset the phone, I've erased the phone and just put 1 album on it, no luck. , updated to 13.1 and no change it still skips. My old Iphone X running 13.1 works perfectly. It's so bad I listen to XM now. and don't use my carplay to listen to music. My vehicle is a 2019 Mini Cooper JCW, I've had the dealership reset the ECU, any other ideas would be wonderful....

Did a a Google search to see if anyone was having a similar problem and found this. I just upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro Max (from 8+) and my CarPlay is skipping now. Maybe not as much as yours as it’s only a few times a song, but it’s annoying. Our car is also a 2019 JCW Mini.

I already left feedback on 9to5 bk in November it’s know February this need news or big news on social media as a big issue and this is a danger Issue too this could course a accident as been on phone and calls drop ! On CarPlay

Volkswagen Passat MY2020 and IPhone 11 Pro here, similar problems. Wireless CarPlay worked really well for a couple of weeks, music, Google Maps etc. Then it became really crappy from last week for some unknown reason. Pretty useless now, skips every 10-20 seconds of each song. Fine when connected via usb cable.

iOS 13.4 beta does not help, still the same problems. Any suggestions?

Hello guys, since full restore of my iPhone did not help I focused on the car. I remembered that things turned sour after having troubles with CarPlay connection. So I though the problem might be in the way wireless connection is setup. I tried to delete bluetooth and wifi connected phone in the car (Passat) infotainment to no avail. Then I renamed both - wifi and bluetooth connections in the car infotainment and initiated new wireless CarPlay setup. And voila, it works like a charm again. Not sure for how long but it might be worth a try for you too.

Wow we got an update from Apple that’s says fix CarPlay about time hope this works !!!!! Fingers crossed let us know how you guys get on with this update!

OMG. I’m having the same problem. I just upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro from the XS Max. Ever had a problem. I also drive a Mini 2019. Mine skips a lot too. Wish someone will post a fix.
