Hi, either when i call some one or some one call me when i am using spekear if it not iphone the other person hear there self, if bith person have iphone 11 which is my case both hear themself with the echo... How to fix???

I’ve found that turning on and off the speakerphone function during the call solves it which means it’s not a physical problem. If I hold it vertically facing the screen it happens a lot more than if I hold it horizontally and speak into the bottom about 6” from the phone as well.
I have tried two different ear pods, different cases, no case, wired earbuds... when it has the echo I can make it go away. I have to end my call. Even if
im working.. AND now it over heated plugged in in the exact place I always plug it in. It was indoors, not exposed to sun or heat, now what was a great battery drains quickly. AT&T said I need to go to the apple store to replace. But a COVID it’s always crowded even with an appointment I’m not comfortable! I’m telling you this is maddening!!!! Apple is ******* me off
This issue is so frustrating. I purchased this phone several months ago. I was having the same “speaker phone” issue. I called support and after several calls and a couple HOURS they decided to send me a new phone. Since I have no landline I needed phone expedited...had to pay a fee to get a replacement in fewer than 7-10 days. Now have a new phone WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I use my phone for work and it is a huge inconvenience to have to hold my phone and type at the same time. For the money these phones cost you would think the basic features (that every cell phone has had since the beginning of cell phones) would work.
They are not if people are just complaining here.

If you still have the issue after updating to the latest version of iOS, take your phone in to be examined.

Can you explain how the case was causing the echo please?
When you're using the speaker phone, the microphone is in the earpiece not the bottom of the phone.
The case didnt had any hole on the bottom of the cover, i got a new cover with holes in the bottom and solved.
Following since I have the same problem. i have a hole in my case as well.
Yes its happen to me too. Appearently the put a very sensitve mic in this phones...
Yes, I also have this same problem. It is driving me crazy as i use the speakerphone all the time. Can anyone help?
