Hi, either when i call some one or some one call me when i am using spekear if it not iphone the other person hear there self, if bith person have iphone 11 which is my case both hear themself with the echo... How to fix???

At first I thought it was the case because it had no holes at the bottom, so it was covering the speaker and mic, but even without it there would be an echo. So I took my phone during the week of purchase to T-Mobile and the manager was not helpful at all. He kept telling me it’s normal, it happens sometimes, it’s a network problem, the phone is not defective. But he told me my only options were to send it to Apple or Get a different one with my insurance. He didn’t even try to help, nor touched my phone at all!
The closest Apple store to my town is 2 hrs away, so I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy instead. They checked my phone and even though I saw the screen showed “issues found” they said the phone was working properly, but they could send it out to Apple to have it checked and it would take about a week. I work from my phone, so I can’t afford to be without it for a week. It was very frustrating because until this day, there is no solution to this problem online.
I finally visited an Apple Store and thank God the associate knew what he was doing! He took my phone for a few minutes, came back and told me there were no problems with the device, but he had me reset my network settings. IT FIXED THE ISSUE! I can’t believe it was that simple and no one could help me before. I almost purchased a new phone.
It has been months since that day and just a few days ago the echo came back, but it went away by resetting the network settings again.
Before you waste more money on another phone or your time waiting for them to fix your phone, TRY RESETTING YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS.

I just purchased four new iPhone. One IPhone 11 and three IPhone 11 Pro. Three of them are experiencing the echo problems. The fourth one has not been activated yet but will probably have the same problem. The echo happens while on speaker and also during face time calls. There is a serious problem with this and it needs to be addressed immediately. It’s definitely not the case because I don’t have a case on my phone.
With or without a case I’m having problems. My daughter also has the 11 and we both love talking through speakerphone, really horrible with 2 11’s having all the feedback. This is my first apple anything and I’m so disappointed and wishing I would have taken Samsung instead. Fix this please or I’m a goner
I purchased my iPhone Pro 11 yesterday and I am experiencing the feedback issue on speaker. The caller and I can hear it. I will be returning my phone since I am in the 14 day return period. Guess I'll have to go back to the Pixel until this issue is resolved. :(

Having an echo issue on the phone, went to the Oakridge Apple store, associate tested the device. It was confirmed there is echo on phones
However the Apple diagnostics says no issue
so Apple can not provide a fix or replacement

@goral123 - I have had the very same issues. Upgraded my entire family of four to iP11’s and we cannot talk on speakers. The echoes are unbearable. Tried same steps with case, etc. and nothing seems to help. I will try the airplane mode solution until someone from Apple addresses issue! This problem makes one of the most used functions of the iPhone I useable!!!
Reading this thread leads me to believe that the main problem is one of sound conduction and less one of sound transmission. Apple needs to widen the wave inversion algorithm to search for an inverted wave injection point at both a delayed interval as well as possible first reflected harmonic. Though better handled in hardware this can be done in software at the expense of cpu and a brief potential slight initial echo. A trivial PID algorithm should converge during the first call. The advice of one theoretical physicist turned machine/deep learning experimentalist.
I think we all need to keep talking about it and asking Apple “Care” to address this design flaw. The louder we are, the more likely they are to do something about it. I’m sure the fix would affect Apple’s precious bottoms line so there is no incentive to fix it until public pressure changes that.
********, it won't help. I tired this 3 times. I tried to change my operator SIM card and also I try other operator SIM card. Problem still exist. I'm going to Apple Authorized Reseller and I'll show them this problem.
I was considering upgrading my business phone from the 6 to the 11 as well. I have an 8 for personal use, and I love it! No issues whatsoever. If you are wanting to upgrade but want to avoid these issues, check out the 8.
I am having the same problem. Its worse when someone else has me on speaker phone or bluetooth headphones and particularly bad when they are on another iphone 11. But I can also hear the echo all the time (just very faint) even when no one is using speaker phone or a bluetooth device.
I am so surprised that I googled for this speaker phone echo problem and I found this post. After buying such an expensive phone I am so unhappy to experience speaker phone echo issues on the call :-(

I, too, am having this issue but it only just started happening. I have tried changing cases, even though I am using the same case as I was when I got the phone and didn’t have the problem. That didn’t fix it, I have tried rebooting the phone, taking it off and putting it back on speaker, and it didn’t fix it. Please fix this problem as this was a very expensive phone.
I bought myself & my parents each iphone 11 pro max and they have the exact same echo problem in speaker mode. Apple, when are you going to acknowledge the problem and provide a resolution? Apple care support is of no help on this issue to date.
Fix this, Apple.
I dropped $3,000 on these phones and to have this echo issue is absurd.
I’m having the same issue. Whoever I call complains that they have a horrible echo but I don’t hear it. I’ve tried it with my case on and off. Nothing worked. It’s been like this since day 1 of activation, but I needed a new phone. I did the latest update and I still have the issue. Did anyone find a solution?
