I’ve searched on the internet ways to solve this and I’m coming up short. When I set a calendar alert Time To Leave is crossed out and says “Time to leave alerts are not available because location-based services are not available”. My location based services are turned on. I feel like I’ve checked everything up and down including rebooting the phone but nothing works. Please help!

Hi there. I was having the same problem and researched it. Luckily I found the solution.
Got to settings>privacy> Location services> scroll all the way down to System Services and go to Location -Based Alert and turn on. That will fix it for you
It's my problem, I can't solve it.
For a moment I thought it was for a mistake in time zones, and it is curious that I found divergences of time zone in the web version of the calendar iCloud (area of Cupertino), the calendar of my iMac (zone of Paris), and that of my iPhone (zone of Madrid, which is my real zone).
Well, after adjusting all three to the Madrid time zone, it still does not work.
So I updated to iOS 14.7 yesterday.
As usual, the time-to-leave alert for my first test appointment for a few hours later actually fired.
However, the next appointment I set for this morning stayed quiet.
Basically, the issue still is not fixed. Too bad.
I have everything turned on as described. Even Apple checked my iPhone and still not working. They had to forward my issue to their chain of command in Apple Support to investigate. I get alerts on my Mac but not on iPhone.
That seems reasonable to me as well.
Tried all of the above, still does not work.
Now I updated to iOS 15, and still, it is not working. Also reset my location services settings today once more - didn‘t help.
In fact, I raised an issue with Apple for this a few months ago but until today, I am still awaiting any kind of reply or improvement.

I took a look, and my settings were already on, but Time to Leave is still not working.
Same thing here. Everything was turned on and still doesn’t show me time to leave.
Same here. I even rebooted and nothing. It shows drive time but won’t give the alert as to when to leave. 🤷♀️
