iPhone 12 Pro Keyboard sounds, notifications and lock sounds volume low

I agree. I miss important notifications as well. About the battery drain I had this issue on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I will charge it 100% and without doing anything 30 minutes later it will drop to 80% and so on. I found the fix for and now I am good. No battery issues. Follow the hard reset.

I’m a bit happy to see that it isn’t just me. I got my 12 pro max yesterday and noticed on lock sometimes it was really loud. Also noticed the quiet keys that gradually get louder. Also had a few times I deleted text in an address bar and my first key press is a super loud snap. Certainly hope that it’s software and not hardware.

Please, PLEASE, take the phone into the apple store with this discussions page pulled up and show it to them!! Let them know this isnt a "per device" thing its within the os! I dont think anyone at apple even read this form when i sent it to them. I think they just acted like they did and still wanted me to reset my phone again.

The only way thisll get fixed is if enough people show them this article letting them know its not a hardware oer device problem its a bug within the os that no one wants to believe us about

I just bought an Iphone 12 Pro and I encounter the same issue. I tried restarting and resetting the phone but with no success. I also tried the fix with EQ in Late Night and the issue is still there even though after typing several words the keyboard clicks sound is much louder now.

I really like the phone but this issue is frustrating and it might force me to send the phone back to apple and ask for a refund.

OMG it worked. I seemed to get even better results with turning off Sound Check also. Shut down seemed even louder. I haven't heard it that loud since iPhone X.

Weird, when I open message and start typing i often hear no clicking and after 10-15 characters it starts quietly and slowly gets louder after about 30 characters. But still not a loud as my iphone x

I am also having exactly same issue with Iphone 12 Pro Max. Low volume on notifications for imessage, gmail, mail, etc. It is very annoying. I had iphone XS Max and never had any issues with low volume. I am running latest 14.3 update and no fix.

It was not fix on iOS 14.3. It seems nobody is talking about this issues. I check tech you tubers and nobody reporting any sounds issues. I think many people are just using Apple Watch and AirPods inside the house which will explain why nobody is complaining. I started doing the same for past week and forgot about the sound issue until you posted here. I never had this issue on previous iPhones.

I am using iPhone 12 promax. The notification sounds and lock sounds are so low. Even i miss notifications. But call volume is quite ok. But not notifications.

earlier i had the iphoneX and it sounds really loud than my new 12 pro max

I have iTunes too. Why can't I reset it at home instead of driving 75 miles on way to my closest Apple store?

Why can't they post a fix? And even bigger yet...why don't they admit there is a problem.

I have been having the same issues. Nothing fixes it; restarting the phone fixes it for a few notifications. Also I don’t know about anyone else but my phone has been having brightness problems where my phone gets really dim and it never goes back up unless I restart my phone.
