Yes, the Canon (PIXMA) MG5350 is mentioned in the article About AirPrint - Apple Support as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. This means that the printer is compatible with macOS (Big Sur).
Regarding the firmware, please have a look at https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mg_series/pixma_mg5350.html?type=firmware . There is an AirPrint Firmware Updater (Mac) for MG5300 series Ver.1.2b (19 September 2017). Unless already installed, please note the updating details.

It may not be a bad idea to reset the printing system (steps in the following article) before you add the printer.

It should not be too difficult to make this work. Do you have an existing Wi-Fi network with a router? If so, make sure that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network. Do not hesitate to post back in case of additional questions.

This does not resolve the issue with installing the drivers, The Canon printer shows up but is in-useable with out a driver.

my canon printer mg 5350 has decided it does not wish to print text on my spread sheet table and charts.

table lines and charts are produced without text
I have this question too.
Installed Big Sur last week now Canon mg5750 printer not responding although it will print from iPhone sometimes. Have checked LAN settings, changed inks, rebooted iMac. Don’t know what to do next.
