Hello again,
Yes, the Canon (PIXMA) MG5350 is mentioned in the article About AirPrint - Apple Support as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. This means that the printer is compatible with macOS (Big Sur).
Regarding the firmware, please have a look at https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mg_series/pixma_mg5350.html?type=firmware . There is an AirPrint Firmware Updater (Mac) for MG5300 series Ver.1.2b (19 September 2017). Unless already installed, please note the updating details.
Also see the Manual for how to use AirPrint for Mac.
It may not be a bad idea to reset the printing system (steps in the following article) before you add the printer.

Information about how to add the printer can be found here:

It should not be too difficult to make this work. Do you have an existing Wi-Fi network with a router? If so, make sure that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network. Do not hesitate to post back in case of additional questions.
Good luck!
Looks like the postscript version is now available. PS_v4.17.6
UFRII still not released
Klara111, it looks like you need to add or check the printer queue settings through System Preferences.

TOOK CANON BACK AND GOT A BROTHER PRINTER COLOR AND IT WORKS WITH BIG SUR WILL NEVER BUT ANOTHER CANON PRINTER AGAIN
Hello,
I am having the same issue. I am unable to add our Canon I-Adv 6065 printer to my computer. I have followed these instructions deleting all Canon Printer Drivers, emptying the trash, and then resetting the mac printer system. I have downloaded the new driver for Big Sur from Canon but am unable to install it.
Since I was unable to install the driver from the files Canon gave me so I manually copied the ppd.gz file into the PPD folder but my computer is unable to discover the printer on our network even though it can connect and set up other printers on the same network and I can access the Printer's webpage through it's IP address. Other people in the office are able to connect and print to it just fine it's a problem with my computer.
Same issue: I downloaded a new printer driver from Canon but cannot instal it. A message appears: "Cannot install on this version of the operating system you are using." and "Run the installer on a version that supports it.
Any advice???
Sorry, I see no point in removing all Canon software, nor in resetting the printer system. The comp is brand new. Adding a printer will not be a problem if I could install the new driver. Yet I cannot run the installer app to install the driver.
I uninstalled all of my canon content and downloaded all the recently updated drivers and software for my MG3029, the driver had said it was compatible for Big Sur.
It did work... but not for long. My printer is back to not printing and I tried again with no success.
Can you change the product name in the Canon scan utility (arrows right to the old scanner name)?
I wonder if this link (from Canada gives the same results) https://canoncanada.custhelp.com/app/answers/answer_view/a_id/1013199/~/ij-scan-utility2-ver.2.3.8-%28mac%29
yo! I work in a school, and I had this issue with a mac today as well, was pulling my hair out and stopped here to see I was not alone... but thankfully I remembered I installed the drivers about moth ago too, so I was able to go back and get the older version of the file that works...
hopefully this will get a few of you printing :D

If you uninstall your Canon driver software you will not be able to reinstall it as the program will say "Cannot install on this version of the operating system you are using". So not a good idea maybe?
I have carried out all the advice given here and reinstalled the printer but can only print from my android phone, so I am currently sending my documents to Onedrive and printing from may phone with Canon Print Services. I would still like to be able to print from my Mac so if anybody has other ides apart from all the above, please let me know!
Canon have told me they are no longer supporting the photo printers which require drivers. Do I have block of plastic I can do nothing with abs they have forced me to have to buy a new photo printer. I’m not happy
Please follow the advice noted above!
