Unclear robotic voice on iPhone 13 Max Pro phone call

I have recently purchased an iPhone 13 Max Pro. I have a problem on occasion (often) when I get a phone call or when I make a call, the other person sounds like a robot. It switches to normal voice and back to the robotic sound. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I’m so glad to see people running into the same BS. Not! I’m over this is this happening with Verizon customers only or is anyone else on att? T-Mobile? Etc. I think this is where we need to start because if it doesn’t matter the carrier then it is in fact an apple issue. Either way im over this **** when im trying to run a business also I have a dual SIM card don’t know if this is the cause either. Someone figure this **** out!!!!

Same here but I get the issue with my sister’s iPad and me on my iMac ( late 2019 with Monterey ) her voice is robotic but the video feed is perfect and she can hear me ok; once we stop the FaceTime and restart it from my iPhone 13 pro max, it’s totally fine and works properly. I tried switching all the settings I could think of on my iMac but to no avail. I even used Speedify using both an ethernet connection and wifi connections with two different connections sources ( VDSL and 5G mobile router ) … nothing! It’s something on the iMac, methinks

I bought my iPhone 13 Pro brand new this summer from New York. I had this robotic voice disruption several times on regular phone calls and on teams calls. very embrassing and frustrating. I had to drop and call back again. I had no such problem with my previous iphoneXR. I do not understand if it can be fixed with software update or if it has a problem with hardware. I see that many others have the same problems too. I do not understand why Apple do not give an explanation about it. My 1-month-old phone needs a fix.

Hello There,

I am having the same issues. It’s been a month since I got my new iPhone 13pro and it started acting weird. I am having frequent robotic feedback literally on every single call. I did all the troubleshooting steps that is required, I went to Apple store to get this resolved, they checked diagnosed and said there is no issue with the device and they cannot help me with the robotic feedback. This is very frustrating because it happened while my inter last week thrice and I couldn’t hear a grain what the interviewer was asking me. Why the **** should I pay $1000 for a piece of garbage like this? Is this the way you treat your customers? Agents at stores says that Apple is not responsible for any issues after the purchase! Is that your policy to Sell defective devices and repair them? As loyal customer for last 7 years, this is very disappointing. Need to get this issue fixed, the only way i see is to get a replacement device as your genuine service advisors have failed terribly to fix the issue instead they advised me to ship the device to other location and wait for nothing.
