Same on mine. I've never used a screen protector and never had a single scratch on any previous model of iphone I've had (and I've had a bunch of them). Usually kept in pocket on its own, but after a few months I have 3 rather large somewhat deep scratches (that I can physically feel with my fingernail). I do believe the quality of this glass isn't as good as previous models. :-(

I have applecare but seems ridiculous to replace the screen for a few scratches, and no actual cracks or brokenness. I believe Apple should recall the screens on these and offer free replacements with higher quality ones.

my screen also has a moderate or visible scratch on glass! Can you someone advice on this, how to resolve it

Bob Timmons is correct. AppleCare+ does not cover cosmetic damage. Read the post I wrote to the user just above your post and put a screen protector on your phone, which will likely hide scratches you've already gotten and prevent future scratches.

You can go to your Apple Store and they can install the Belkin screen protector. You can go to your closest BestBuy store and they have multiple brands. But if you want to buy one from Amazon, I highly recommend the Spigen Screen Protector, which includes a very easy and foolproof installation tray --> https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Tempered-Protector-designed-Friendly/dp/B0B244R4KB/ref=sr_1_3?crid=152PDDG9VHV6O&keywords=spigen+screen+protector+iphone+14+pro&qid=1688836520&sprefix=spigen+screen+%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-3

I owned iPhone XR for over five years card in my pocket with no screen protector and they were pretty much zeros scratches.

I have owned an iPhone 14 plus for a little over a month carrying it the same way the same clothes and I’ve gotten multiple really visible small scratches and two long scratches something is up.

funny as I was never peddled a screen protector in the past, but this time I was, and I was like no I don’t need it because of how mine was in such good condition for five years in one case that was falling apart when I upgraded.

As Dogcow-Moof noted in the post just above yours, the type of glass used has changed over the years. It is more shatter resistant but somewhat less scratch resistant. For most people, this is a good trade-off as a phone with a shattered screen is much less usable than one with some scratches on it.

It’s ridiculous how easily the iPhone 14 screen is getting scratched. How can you produce a phone this expensive, and say that this is the strongest type of glass you’ve ever put in a phone while actually it’s a horrible choice of material?

I truly hope that Apple will come up with a replacement plan for this type of screen… Definitely disappointed and would have chosen a different phone instead if I knew this in advance.

Is there a possibility to swap out parts through the Apple Care plan for this?

If the screen is damaged enough that you can't use it, you could get it repaired under AppleCare+. It would cost you $29 dollars if you have an iPhone 14 Pro.

If the scratches do not interfere with the functioning of the phone, Apple usually won't do anything as they don't do repairs for cosmetic issues.

Why would this phone not be recalled and replaced immediately? This has been a mess with purchasing an apple through Spectrum (which I usually just buy through apple), and now the phone not responding (face recognition doesn't work), messages don't come through, phone calls don't come through? Why is this not a recalled item? We see 1290 people with he same problem? Well each of us should not be paying $1,000.00 for a phone that is nonfunctional and you being aware of it.
