So just upgraded to 16.2 and now my always on display turns off in a couple minutes or so.

Nope. I’ve been thru these questions with apple support.
This was not fixed in 16.3—frankly unbelievable.
Not me and I’ve tried everything.
Could each phone react differently to the new IOS?

I was promised in writing by Apple by text that it would be fixed with the new 16.3 update. It was NOT. Very frustrating!!
Same. Turns off when laying down for 20 seconds. Nice always on display 😂
Congrats! Did you do a full factory reset, or the vol up/down power button reset?
