My vehicle only has a USB adapter to connect to my stereo to enable Apple CarPlay. Now that I'm using a USB to USB-C cable, Apple CarPlay no longer works with the iPhone 15. Any ideas on how to address this? Should I try different cables or is this more of a fundamental issue with the new iOS or iPhone 15?

There are a lot of us that its not working for. Supposedly its with Apple engineers. No mater how many cables are tried, it simply doesnt connect reliably. I have tried many variants from C-C and A-C. No dice on any.

Was having same problem. Went into settings on my car radio settings Apple car play was not turned on. Turned it on all good!

Installed Version 17 Release 1.2 (17.1.2) with the "proper" cable and CarPlay bow appears to be working!

I believe it is an IOS update issue no cars show up in CarPlay availability IOS isn’t listing any available cars
If an update changed this, it would have changed it for everyone. It certainly didn't change anything in either of our cars. So, it's not the update.
Interesting. You could be right. I have an IPhone 12 Pro. It worked prior to the update and doesn't after the update. I did the update wireless. Lets see what the engineers discover, if anything.
